In Bihar, 11 suspected Maoists including a zonal area commander were arrested in Gaya district during a police raid. The Maoists were arrested when they were planning for some major action in the Rangpur village under Atari police station of the district. Two pistols and 11 live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the Maoists. Police interrogation is on to known further about the suspected Maoists. A massive man hunt is on in Gaya and the nearby areas to nab more Maoists.
