In West Bengal, eleven police personnel have been suspended over recent firing on a mob at Islampore in North Dinajpore district. Official sources said, three students were injured and one guardian was killed in police firing at a school compound in Islampore on last Thursday over acquisition of a plot of land. Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting C.M.Jatua yesterday visited Islampore and met the families of the deceased and injured students. Mr. Jatua demanded CBI enquiry into the incident.
