Human Resources Development Minister Kapil Sibal has said that eleven new model colleges and two NIT campuses will be set up in Jammu and Kashmir very soon. He was addressing a gathering of students and parents at Pulwama district in South Kashmir yesterday.

Punjab: 5 killed, 1 injured in collision of train & tempo on unmanned railway crossing In Punjab, five persons were killed and one injured when a tempo collided with a train at an unmanned railway crossing at Saidewala village in Firozepore district. The train was going from Ludhiana to Firozepore and the tempo directly collided with the train. All the killed persons were traveling in the tempo.
