At least 11 people, including three children, were killed and six others injured when a mini-bus in which they were travelling fell into Alaknanda river at Karnprayag area in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district today.<br/><br/>The bus driver lost control over the vehicle on a sharp turn near Kurela and it fell into the river. An official of Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre said that the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. <br/><br/>The bus was carrying 30 passengers at the time of the mishap. Senior administrative and police officials have rushed to the spot to supervise the search and rescue operation.
