<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, eleven people have died&nbsp;due to consumption&nbsp;of spurious liquor in Nalanda district of the state. The incident occured at a locality under Sohsarai police station of the district. District Magistrate Shashank Subhankar told AIR that three people are undergoing treatment in hospital and two of them have lost their sight.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Family members of the deceased said that the victims, who worked as construction labourers, had consumed spurious liquor together on Friday night and fell sick after reaching home.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp; </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The SHO of Sohsarai police station of Nalanda district has been suspended and combing operation is on to unearth the illicit liquor activities. Bihar is a state where production, importation and sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited by law.</span>
