10th World Hindi Conference to be organized Bhopal from Sept 10 to 12

External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj today said the 10th World Hindi Conference (WHC) is being organized from coming September 10th to 12th in Bhopal by the Ministry of External Affairs, in partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh.<br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Mrs Swaraj said Prime minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the conference and Bollywood star Amitabh Bachan will be the chief guest on the last day of the conference.<br/><br/>She said Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita avam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal is the partner organization for the Conference.<br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj said, the main theme of the Conference is Hindi Jagat: Vistar ebam sambhavnai.<br/><br/>She informed that during the Conference, there will be a kavi sammelan and evening cultural programmes.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports, the first World Hindi Conference was held in 1975 in Nagpur. Since then, nine such Conferences have been held all over the globe.
