Today is the 10th anniversary of Terror attack on Parliament. On this day in 2001, terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed stormed into Parliament, which was in session. Security personnel bravely fought back and foiled the nefarious attempt and eliminated five Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists.

Six security men—four Delhi Police personnel and one each from the CRPF and Parliament watch-and-ward staff—were also killed in the attack. A special programme will be organised in Parliament today to remember the martyrs.
