The 105th birth anniversary of Chandra Shekhar Azad being organised at Allahabad on Friday. The Main function was held at Chandrasekhar Azad Park also popularly known as Alfred Park in Allahaabd on Friday. Armed gave guard of honor and police band played National anthem tunes to mark the occasion. The commissioner of Allahabad division P V Jaganmohan and several political leaders also paid their homage to great revolutionary leaders for their supreme sacrifice. School children presented cultural programmes including a play based on national heroes of freedom movement to mark his birth anniversary. Several other programs are also being organised throughout the state on Friday. Great freedom fighter Azad was born at Badarqa in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh on 23rd July 1906.
