<span style="color: #222222;">Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur today informed Rajya Sabha that at present 105 athletes in Core Group and 244 athletes in Development Group are supported under Target Olympic Podium Scheme, TOPS. In a written reply, he said TOPS scholarship in terms of Out of Pocket Allowance, OPA is being provided to TOPS athletes fifty thousand rupees per month for Core Group athletes and twenty five thousand rupees per month for Development Group athletes. <br />''<br />''He said these 349 athletes have received around 11 crore 48 lakh rupees till last month in the current fiscal. The Minister said, two thousand 967 sportsperson have been provided ten thousand rupees per month each amounting to over 16 crore rupees as OPA till last month this fiscal.</span><br />
