The state's per million population samples collected by laboratories is 5,847 as compared to the country's 4,610. Until Sunday, Seven lakh Seventy-Three thousand Eight hundred and Sixty Five samples were sent for testing of which One lakh Thirty Two thousand Seventy Five have been tested positive. Meanwhile, eight trainee cadets of INS Shivaji Lonavala, which is one of the premier training establishments of the Indian Navy, have so far tested positive for novel coronavirus. The infected cadets are part of a batch of 150 trainees. The Tehsildar of Maval area said recently some trainee cadets had come to INS Shivaji from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and other cities. He said all the positive cadets have been admitted to the military hospital at Wanowrie in Pune. He said the naval institute has set up eight different isolation facilities. With 3721 new cases in the last 24 hours, Maharashtra's coronavirus tally has risen to 1,35,796. The number of recovered has increased to 67,706 with the discharge of 1962 patients on Monday.</span><br />
