In Tamil Nadu, the 102nd anniversary of former Chief Minister and founder of DMK C.N.Annadurai is being celebrated throughout the state. Chief Minister Mr M.Karunanidhi, Deputy Chief Minister Mr M.K.Stalin, Union Minister Mr A. Raja and several state ministers garlanded a portrait kept near the Anna Statue in Valluvar Kottam and paid their respects. The AIADMK Presidium Chairman Mr Madhusudhanan and party functionaries garlanded the statue of the late leader on Anna Salai. To coincide with the anniversary, the Chief Minister Mr Karunanidhi will inaugurate the Anna Centenary Library built at a cost of 180 crore rupees at a function in Chennai this evening.
