In Assam, security personnel on Monday recovered around 1000 live cartridges of AK series rifles at Hojai Railway station in Nagaon district. Official sources said that, in a routine cheking, Railway Police recovered the cartridges from a bogey of Chennai Express, run between Dibrugarh and Chennai. Railway Police has arrested a person who carried the ammunition. An amount of 35 thousand rupees was also recovered from him. Further investigations are in progress.
