In Odisha, at least 100 people have been tested positive for dengue, taking the total affected persons in the state this month to 637. According to official sources, the death toll due to the outbreak has however remained at 19 with no new death reported from any part of the state since Sunday. More than half of the patients who tested positive yesterday belonged to Angul district, which has been worst hit by the mosquito-borne virus. Dengue cases have been reported from 21 of Odisha’s 30 districts. The highest 314 were from Angul.
