Delhi police will install over 100 CCTV cameras to keep a hawk-eyed vigil during the run up to the Republic Day celebrations. According to senior police officials CCTVs will be installed from tomorrow on the eight kilometer parade route between Rajpath and Red Fort. The police will also install cameras at all major locations across the city including market places to prevent any untoward incidents. All high rise buildings and hotels near the parade route will also be under surveillance.
