In Chhattisgarh about 11 police personnel have been killed in an encounter with the Maoists in Bijapur district Friday evening.Three police personnel were also injured in the incident. ADG Police Naxal Operation told our correspondent that the Maoists started indiscriminate firing on the police personnel in the jungle near the Bhadrakali police station area, who were on their way back after a search operation.
