In Pakistan, three soldiers and 10 militants were killed and seven injured yesterday in clashes in the Khyber tribal district of the northwestern region. The incident occurred a day after the suicide bombing in a mosque in the region which left over 50 people dead. Pro-Taliban militants ambushed a security forces' convoy in Akakhel area of Khyber Agency and killed three soldiers. Officials told media persons that the security forces killed 10 militants and injured five others in the retaliatory action. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
