In Pakistan, at least 10 militants were killed and five others injured in a US drone strike in the lawless North Waziristan tribal region on Friday.According to military sources in Peshawar, the drones targeted Charkhel area of Datta Khelsub-division of North Waziristan Agency.North Waziristan is a hotbed of al-Qaeda operatives and Taliban fighters associated with the Haqqani network that are engaged in battle against the US and Nato forces across the border in Afghanistan.
