A New 10 KV FM Transmitter costing 2.25 crore rupees was commissioned in All India Radio Puducherry this morning .The New Transmitter will not only provide superior quality of broadcasts but will also help the FM channel expand its reach. The state-of-the art transmitter will ensure that FM programmes broadcast by AIR Puducherry would reach people in a radius of about 80 kms covering both Puducherry besides Cuddalore, Villipuram and Tirunvanamalai Districts in neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
