10 killed in IS suicide bombings in Baghdad

In Iraq, 10 people were killed and more than 30 others injured when suicide bombers struck two Shia-majority areas. Security and medical officials said, in the deadliest attack, a bomber targeted a market in the Amil neighbourhood of southern Baghdad, killing at least six people and wounding 16 or more.<br/><br/>Another bomber detonated explosives near a garage for taxis and buses and a tent providing refreshments to passersby as part of a Shiite religious ritual, killing at least four people and wounding 18. There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks.<br/><br/>Islamic State group issued a statement claiming the attack, saying it targeted Shiite Muslims whom the Sunni extremist group considers to be heretics.
