Ten persons, including three women and a child were today killed, while fifteen others injured in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh. The incident happened when a bus in which they were travelling in rolled down near Koti, about 28 km from district headquarter of Chambahere. Police said, the accident occurred this morning when the bus carrying 35 passengers from Bhrara village to Chamba went off the road near Koti area as the retaining walls caved in. The bus fell 50-foot down the road killing nine persons on the spot, while one person succumbed to his injuries. SP Chamba Madhusudan Sharma said, fifteen injured persons were admitted to the Zonal Hospital Chamba. Rescue parties have been rushed into the spot where some of the injured are still feared trapped inside the bus. Gas cutters are being used to cut the body of the bus so that the passengers can be taken out easily.
