In Uttarakhand, ten persons died and 30 others were injured this morning when an Uttarakhand Roadways bus skidded at Saknidhar near Devprayag.

The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Srinagar and Rishikesh. Our Correspondent reports that 40 people were travelling in the bus which was on its way from Delhi to Guptakashi. High speed is stated to be the cause of the accident.
