Ten per cent Dearness Allowance, DA, will be given to West Bengal State Government employees from the 1st of January. This was declared by the West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee. She was talking to newspersons at the Writers’ Buildings in Kolkata on Wednesday after a meeting with representatives of the State Government employees. A section of State Government employees are not happy with this decision as 13% DA still remains to be paid to them.
