In Chhattisgarh, one policeman and four naxalites were killed in an encounter in the Narayanpur district Tuesday evening. The deceased policeman was a head constable in the Special Task Force. The encounter took place near the Tirkanar jungle under the Dhaudai police station area. The police have recovered the dead bodies of the four naxalites on Wednesday along with some weapons from the site of the encounter. Meanwhile, tributes were paid to the deceased policeman in Raipur on Wednesday.
