In Chhattisgarh, a police man was killed and another injured in a naxal attack in the Bijapur district today. The naxalites triggered a pressure bomb and opened fire at the policemen when they were standing guard at the helipad at Pamed. The police also retaliated immediately and the cross fire continued for about half an hour before the ultras escaped into the dense jungle nearby. The injured has been admitted to the local hospital.
