United Nations agencies have said, the civil war in South Sudan has forced more than two million children to flee their homes. UN children's fund UNICEF and the refugee agency UNHCR said more than 1 million children have fled outside South Sudan while another 1 million are internally displaced. <br/><br/>Many South Sudanese refugees have fled into neighboring Uganda, Kenya, Sudan or Ethiopia, nations which are already struggling to provide enough food and resources for their own populations. <br/>South Sudan has been riven by a civil conflict since a split between President Salva Kiir and his former deputy, Riek Machar, escalated in December 2013. Tens of thousands have been killed and 3.5 million displaced.
