1 lakh 89 thousand students are likely to appear for the JIPMER MBBS entrance Examination to be held on the 4th of this month. Speaking to media, JIPMER Director Dr. SC Parija said that the nation-wide examination will be held at 339 centres in 75 cities across the country.<br/><br/>The number of applications for undergraduate medical course in JIPMER shows a quantum jump this year. JIPMER, an institute of national importance has 200 MBBS seats in its campuses in Puducherry and Karaikal.<br/><br/>Elaborate arrangements are made for foolproof conduct of the exam. The institute accepts only Aadhar, e-Aadhar and passport for identification of candidates. Bio-metric attendance is introduced to thwart any attempt of impersonation.
