1.5 lakh health and wellness centres to be set up under Ayushman Bharat

<span style="color: #222222;">Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said the government is providing affordable health care and universal health cover to the people of the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing an international conference at AIIMS in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said, several health care schemes launched are aimed at providing affordable health care to the people.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He added that the objective of Ayushman Bharat scheme is also in this direction. He said, the Centre has taken several steps to take care of elderly people.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Health Ashwini Kumar Choubey said under Ayushman Bharat, the government has decided to develop 1.5 lakh health and wellness centres in a phased manner. Under these Centres health facilities for elderly people will also be available.</span><br />
