<br/><br/>In China, around 1.2 million officials, including 240 centrally administered officers, have been investigated and punished in China's anti-corruption drive launched by President Xi Jinping. <br/><br/>Wu Yuliang, deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC), told a press conference in Beijing today that over four years more than 1.16 million corruption cases were filed and nearly 1.2 million people have been punished for violating CPC and government rules.<br/> <br/>The massive anti-corruption campaign covering all parts of governance including the military has been launched by Xi after he took over power.<br/>''<br/>
